What do you do and what do you love about your role?

I’m a Machine Learning Engineer and I am passionate about making the world a better place. At Sleep Cycle I get the opportunity to innovate and find technical solutions that will help people around the world sleep better and wake up feeling refreshed. What I love about my role is that it is research oriented and that I, together with my team, get to solve complex problems that no one has solved before. Combining this with MLOps and Data Engineering creates the perfect match for me.

How would you describe Sleep Cycle?

Open-minded, Geeky and Friendly.

What's your favorite Sleep Cycle feature?

My favorite feature is the smart alarm. It helps me wake up refreshed every morning. I’m also really excited about our new feature “Who’s snoring” that rolled out in November.

What’s your ideal way to spend a Saturday evening?

I started climbing a year ago, so most of my spare time is spent in the climbing gym.
